Yes, Filipino 3 has been filled with it and paperworks has been a part of my Junior High School life. No, I am not complaining, it's quite fun, honestly. I haven't complained after realizing that these paperworks were actually helping me to improve writing, especially using Filipino as the mode of language.
So, having reaction papers(I honestly did not like the reaction part too much as I am the worst at expressing my thoughts and reactions), we finally did a poem.
I found it hard to write this one. First of all, the number of syllables we need to use. We only need 16 syllables per line, 4 lines, and 4 stanzas. Uhh, I actually found out this morning that the minumum was 4. I thought the maximum was 4, so I have put all my crappy thoughts in a 4-stanza poem.
This poem is in Tagalog. I have used one word there that is from a different dialect('Pagmati'--> pakiramdam; feeling). The given theme is pag-ibig or love. I chose the 'love makes people crazy' theme. :))
It's a crappy one,honestly. (No, I am not praise-fishing. Just telling the truth. :D)
So, here:
Isang dalagitang nawiwindang, galit, humihikbi
Ngunit, pag-ibig, ‘pag naalala’y puso’y umiindak.
Isang mulat, pagpapakita; isang pikit, nawala,
Naramdaman ang pagiging pangalawa lamang sa’yo.
Iyong alaala ay iwawala na parang bula,
‘Yong malungkot na paalam, akin lang pagtatawanan.”
